Valentines... in the making!

Today my girls and I are working on their Valentines for school. This year they wanted to do treat boxes... We are using the Stampin Up! Milk Carton Sizzix die. I have to say we are working hard with Crunch 'n Much near by... but this is taking longer than we imagined. Two trips to the sotre to get more Sticky Tape... we are out yet again! I will post some pics tomorrow!

I also found a new way to mount rubber stamps and make them acrylic mounted! I took an old set I had planned to sell and gave it a try... I will let you see what I did and how I did it (and if it worked!!) when it all dries! I am so excited and hopful it will work. I found the idea on someone's blog so I can't take credit for the concept... but I can use it and give credit where credit is due! =)

Have a great day and stay warm!!! I am happy we are in the positive numbers for temperature today!! Woo hoo!!

It's been FAR tooo long!! But I'm Back!!

I am so excited to be back and have my scrapbooking/card making stuff back!

I am still in the process of unpacking my stuff from 2009!! However, I have a dedicated space with a extra large table and I had to make something! So I made these two lunch box notes for my girls Taylor and Anna! They will be totally surprised at lunch today!

I found my ink pads are not juicy.. so I need to reink them. I also found I am out of practice on watercoloring... and I am dreaming of Copics! Those little buggers are expensive but they create a beautiful watercolor look with less work and more color options. So untill I find a tree that grows Copics, win the lottery or a Copic fairy sends me some I will use my stamp pads and water brush!

Enjoy... more to come!
